V M Salgaocar Trust

V. M. Salgaocar Trust is a Public Charitable Trust formed with an objective to facilitate the spread of education and to promote social, educational and cultural activities through scholarships, fellowships, lectureships, prizes at schools, colleges or other educational institutions. The Trust also focusses upon grant of donation to hospitals, dispensaries, nursing homes, orphanages and other public institutions for administering medical relief to the needy. The trust also encourages research work in the field of engineering, technology, medical science, agricultural science etc. through grant of scholarship, fellowships, awards and grants. Being committed to the betterment of the community at large, the Trust also undertakes Corporate Social Responsibility activities of VMSalgaocarGroup .

The Trust is duly registered under Section 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The Trust is also registered with Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India for undertaking Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
