A beach bar and restaurant that is inspired by the Olive Ridley Turtles that nest on the beach, Blue Turtle brings in a calming decor in its interiors with the use of cane, wood and soothing sheers. The design idea was to blend in rather than stand out, giving patrons a seamless dining experience by the beach. Hues of white and brown keep the interiors muted and elegant with pops of colour thrown in through decor pieces. The accent wall is full of arched niches filled with decorative, handmade vases. The bar section is visually separated through its herringbone-patterned flooring and a turquoise island bar. The beautifully-lit staircase, the use of handmade ceiling lamps and the pops of blue through soft furnishings give this space an added charm. The flavour-forward menu here offers Mediterranean, oriental and Goan specials with beverages that have subtle notes of these cuisines.
